Parent Advisory Board
The mission of the Parent Advisory Board (PAB) is to provide opportunities for parents to become involved in the life of the preschool, to contribute to a positive preschool experience by providing events to support the developmental learning program, and to support the staff of the preschool as well as the preschool itself.
The PAB hosts a number of fundraising and enrichment events throughout the year. The money we raise through our fundraising efforts supports the following programs:
Mr. Tom the Music Man visits the children once a month to teach them age-appropriate musical instruction. The kids absolutely love him!
The Ghoulish Gala is an annual event held during the class hours during Halloween. It’s a ghoulishly fun time for all.
Cultural Event – We Tell Stories The children become very involved with the spectacular storytelling.
Snow Day – look for the kids wrapped head to toe building a snowman and sledding in sunny California.
Pajama Party – The children love wearing their pajamas to school while listening to a selection of books read by the teachers.
Mobile Tide Pools or Reptile Day – Our animal visitors come annually, rotating every other year. Students get an up close and personal experience with a variety of creatures, along with a brief education about their reptile or sea friends.
Additionally the PAB contributes funds for our teachers to attend educational conferences.
