  2. Read II Corinthians 8:1-15. How does the generosity of the Macedonian Christians (i.e. churches at Philippi, Thessalonica and Berea) serve Paul's purposes?
  3. Have you participated in the Bethlehem Experience? If you have, tell some stories of how people share themselves to help create the "experience".
  4. Zero in on verse 9. How does Philippians 2:4-13 help to explain what verse 9 is saying? What is "outrageous generosity"?
  5. How do we measure "richness"?
  6. In vv. 11-15 the apostle gets practical. Talk about the following guidelines:

    3. Give so that you take care of your own needs.
    4. Ask, "What constitutes 'need'?"
    5. Give so that needs are equally met.
