"Stumped"
Isaiah 11:1–10; Romans 15:7–13
- What does it mean to be "stumped"? When have you experienced this?
- Read Isaiah 6:9-13; 10:1-4. Why is Israel in trouble? What "dream" seems to have come to an end?
- Using John Muir's experience on that dangerous rock face as an illustration, talk about a time when you were able to become "un-stuck", (un-stumped). How did this come about? Where others involved?
- Read Isaiah 11:1-10. What is God's idea? How is this described? What part of this have we seen fulfilled? What remains to be fulfilled?
- What are some of the implication of what Isaiah prophecies for where we go from here? How does this relate to the ministries of WPC?
- Read together Romans 15:12,13 and talk about what is Jesus attempting us to see at his Table? How does the Lord's Table help you to know where you go from here?
