- Has anyone ever told you to go take a look in the mirror? Why?
- Read the passage. Focus on the spiritual principle underlying this teaching in v. 47. What does this mean?
- What does the woman teach about hospitality? Share some stories of your own experiences with different kinds of hospitality (like Simon's, and like the woman's).
- How does Jesus love Simon? Is he successful?
- What is implied by Jesus' words to the woman in v. 48?
- How has her faith "saved" her? What does Jesus mean by this?
