Questions for Reflection - Inspired - "Boldness"


  1. How do you define "boldness"? Where does this come from?
  2. How does Pastor Thompson draw a distinction between boldness and passion? Do you agree? Why or why not?
  3. Using John 20:19-23, talk together about the "power" the Holy Spirit brings on Pentecost as described in Acts 2:1-4. Check as well John 14:21.
  4. How do you experience God's love? What role does Christian community play, or should play?
  5. What keeps you from being bold for Christ? What might help you to "practice boldness"?
  6. Reflect on these three questions:
    • How has God loved you? (Be specific)
    • What's your story?
    • Who might like to hear it?
