Prompt: Think back to a Christmas from your childhood. What moment made you feel amazed or full of wonder?
One moment that I can remember from earlier in my childhood at Christmas that made me feel amazed and full of wonder was when it was the first Christmas where I got to put the bright star on the top of the Christmas Tree. It was around Christmas time and my family was starting to get ready for Christmas and decorating around and outside the house.
That night, we set up the Christmas tree in three pieces. Then, we put all the ornaments on it and finished decorating it. Then, when we were about to put the star on. My dad held me up as I held the star all the way to the top of the Christmas tree, which looked really big at the time because I was only around four years old.
I put the star on the top of the Christmas tree and then turned it on when I got down. The star started shining bright white, and it made me feel amazed and full of a lot of wonder. It also made me feel really happy that it was my first Christmas ever that I got to put the bright star on the Christmas tree.
