You are invited to engage with “The Story.” Whether you’ve read through the entire Bible or not, this journey provides an opportunity to see how God moved throughout the narrative of Scripture and to explore how God is still moving today. Follow along with the weekly reading, join a Story Group, or spend some time in personal reflection.
Following the fellowship time, Dr. Daryl Fisher-Ogden will be helping us understand some of the background and related events during the reigns of Saul, David, and Solomon. These three men built up the nation of Israel and ushered in the ‘Golden Era’ for the Israelites. But what else was going on in the ancient world at that time? Who were the nations and tribes that surrounded, and sometimes attacked, the Israelites? What other strong leaders lived at the same time? What were the Romans and Greeks doing during this period?
