Dr. McNutt is the Franklin S. Dyrness Professor of Biblical and Theological Studies and Professor of Theology and History of Christianity at Wheaton College’s Divinity School. She holds a PhD from the University of St. Andrews (Reformation Studies Institute), an M.Div. from Princeton Theological Seminary, and a B.A. in Religious Studies from Westmont College. She is also a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society and an award-winning professor and writer, most recently author of Know the Theologians (Zondervan, 2024), The Mary We Forgot (Brazos, 2024), and co-editor of The Oxford Handbook of the Bible and the Reformation (OUP, 2025). Together with her husband, the Rev. Dr. David McNutt, she co-founded “McNuttshell Ministries” to build bridges between church and academy.

Rev. Rosie DiBianca, Pastor of Caring Ministries at First Presbyterian Newhall, has written a book titled He Calls Me Daughter, created specifically for small group Bible studies and Presbyterian Women (PW) groups. Each chapter concludes with reflective questions to spark meaningful discussion.
