WESTMINSTER YOUTH LEADERS

Children and Family Ministries WESTMINSTER YOUTH LEADERSHIP program is designed to help middle school and high school students develop leadership skills and put them into practice in the church community.

We provide instruction and hands on experience working with children and serving in ministry to support programs, events and activities in Children's Ministry, Congregational Life, and Worship. Here are a few opportunities we currently have...

1. “Be my buddy”: Sunday mornings for in person service, this volunteer will be a buddy to a child who may be wiggly and staring off in the distance during the sermon. This volunteer will offer an alternative option such as a quiet game or activity to children so they can be connecting and establishing relationship with the volunteer.
2. “Helping hand in Sunday school”: Do you have a passion in sharing the stories of Jesus or just sharing the love about Jesus? Kids love hearing the stories and meeting new faces! Come join the SS team once a month or twice month in sharing the love of Jesus.
3. “Assistants”: Are you constantly planning, organizing, or creating in your own life? We are looking for assistants to do just that for our helpers/teachers in Sunday School. Meet occasionally to share ideas and gather our resources to prepare for Sunday school helpers/teachers.
