Why did you become a teacher: I began as a teacher for my children, modeling the importance of doing something you love, something that has meaning. Why did I become a teacher: Because math was my weakest subject. I only had to take one easy math course in college if I was an elementary education student. So, I decided math would be my focus as an educator in early education with the hopes that my students would learn math with a “hands on” approach.
